Goodwin Bio Covid-19 Statement
The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
At Goodwin Biotechnology, Inc. (GBI), it is our role and responsibility during this time to prioritize two things: the health and well-being of our employees, clients and partners while also playing a constructive role in supporting local and global health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus.
Through that lens, we will continue to make decisions with vigilance and courage informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our Mission. GBI has taken certain actions to help prevent the spread of the virus, support the health and well-being of our employees and partners and mitigate disruption to our ongoing operations for the continued delivery of our clients’ clinical projects.
To that end, we have taken a series of precautionary steps in response to this developing public health impact, including implementing certain procedures for the access to our facilities by external visitors. Please feel free to reach out by way of our website regarding the planning of a potential or planned visit to our facility.
While we are currently maintaining regular operations, additional measures may be taken to protect our employees, clients, partners and facilities as we adapt to the dynamics of the COVID-19 situation leveraging guidance from the Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, which may impact our normal operation at some point. In any such situation, we expect the disruption to be temporary.
GBI’s resilience is owed to our unwavering Mission to eliminate the manufacturing risk for companies developing complex biologic therapeutics by being the pre-eminent provider of cost-effective, flexible and timely cGMP-compliant process development and cGMP manufacturing solutions, from pre-clinical development through commercial product supply.
